The Mid-Autumn Festival 🌕🥮 has just ended, and China’s National Day holiday 🇨🇳 is only a few days away. At MINCOLEN, we’re finishing pillow orders, checking packaging and arranging shipments in the short window between the two holidays.
For customers, the question is often whether an order can leave before the break. The answer depends on more than when production finishes. The pillows need to be packed, shipping details need to be confirmed, and the forwarder needs enough time to arrange the shipment.
That is why we suggest checking the booking and cargo cut-off dates with your forwarder before choosing a shipping date around a Chinese holiday. A shipment may still be possible close to the break, but the available schedule depends on the route and the service you use. Leaving the logistics decision until the holiday week can limit your options.
For future September and October orders, it helps to start planning in early September. Even if every detail is not final, sharing your expected quantities, pillow designs and target shipping dates gives us time to discuss production and gives your logistics partner time to check space. If your plans change later, we can review the schedule together.
For orders already in progress, our focus now is to confirm what can be completed and shipped before the break, and to give each customer a clear update on the next step. The photos here show some of the packing and shipping work happening during these days. 📦

Both holidays are important time with family for our team. With a little more planning on both sides, we can take care of the orders while giving everyone a clearer picture of what to expect.
If you have a pillow project for October or later, you’re welcome to contact us now. We’ll look at the product details and timing with you and work out a realistic plan.

And a friendly warning to anyone thinking of visiting China during the holiday: you may feel as though the whole country has made the same travel plans as you! Shanghai is full, Hangzhou is full, and this photo of Hongyadong in Chongqing looks like there’s room for just one more person. 😄 Popular places get crowded, and flights and hotels can cost quite a bit more than usual. If you’d rather see the scenery than the backs of other tourists’ heads, consider visiting after the holiday.
